A well-written character is everything. The main character is the gatekeeper of the story and must instantly draw your reader or audience in. What makes a character feel authentic? Consistency and a balance of traits, both good and bad, and a good reason for those traits. These guides will help you discover the details to bring your characters to life, along with their past history and future goals that an audience can relate to.
MAJOR CHARACTER GUIDE
For the most important characters in your story. Mostly the protagonist and antagonist, but it could be used for a love interest, sidekick, mentor, and any other characters that we will be getting to know very well in the story.
MINOR CHARACTER GUIDE
For the supporting cast of characters. Side characters who don’t carry as prominent of roles or who only show up in a few scenes.
